Tony's Bachelor Party

So this slideshow is a couple of weeks in the making, there were some technical difficulties in getting this slideshow posted, and although I didn't quite figure out how to upload the actual slideshow here, clicking on the picture will take you to the slideshow on the shieldsdigitalimages.com website. Congrats to Tony again, hope you had a good time, and we can't wait until the wedding.

p.s. most all of these images were taken by my Dad, Jim Sr.

Lisa's Wedding Part 2

Here are a few more of my pics from Lisa and Rick's wedding. Congratulations again Lisa and Rick!
Keep checking my
Dad's BLOG for some of his images. And hopefully they will showcase some Ninja moves I was showing off that evening! (Thanks to Mike Colon for showing me that one!) I'm still just a young ninja grasshopper, must keep studying the ways of the ninja to perfect these moves... (disclaimer: these secret skills are not for the weak or faint of heart). Ha ha ha.

Mom and Jess.
Hey Lisa, you paid someone to do that remember!
Lauri on the dance floor havin' some fun. This is the "Miami Vice" wedding we crashed on our way out. Note the white feather palm tree table centerpieces. The color for the wedding was Hot Pink... Nice...
Raymond knows his way around a dance floor. Look at those "Hustle" skills!
Dad and Uncle Ray.

Jen was warming up at the table before she headed out to the dance floor.

Lisa's Wedding

here's a sneak peak of our weekend.

Saturday night our family went to the wedding of Lisa Assessor and her new husband Rick. We've known the Assessor family since we were kids, we consider them to be part of our family.

Anyways, the reception was quite the party... Here's a shot of Jim on our way out. He'll love me for this.

More to come...

Canadian Lakes - 2007

We spent last weekend at my Aunt and Uncle's cottage at Canadian Lakes. It's an annual trip that my family looks forward to every year. Most of my Mom's brother's and sisters (and families) make the trip to party for a long weekend.

Water sports have been getting more and more popular since my Aunt and Uncle purchased a boat a few years ago. We started out with tubing, then the next year brought out the water ski's, and this year the wake board made a brief appearance (and I do mean brief). Unfortunately I don't have any images of the watersports this year as I was busy trying to conquer the wakeboard (unsuccessfully) and being a good spotter. This year I brought up a box of fireworks too, which was the highlight of Saturday's evening entertainment. For pictures of all of these things, check out my Dad's Blog. where he's got a slideshow posted with some awesome shots. He really pushed the envelope with those fireworks shots, with as close as he had to get to the action with a fish eye lens.

Lauri and I had a great time with everyone, it's always great to be able to relax and spend quality time with family. Always makes us feel very blessed. Here are a few I managed to grab though.

My Dad brought the new fly rod he got last year for his birthday.Lauri's catching some rays and looking hot!Nathan needed a little pick me up, cinnabuns and ice pops hit the spot dockside. Here's Jessica testing out the "flat as a board, hard as a rock" theory??? Nathan and Alex playing with the Wii. For those that haven't tried this gaming system yet, what are you waiting for??!!

Sadie really misses Uncle Curt when he's out on the boat without her.
